DAZN is a streaming service most associated with boxing in the UK and with football in Italy, Germany, and Spain. UK customers who sign up expecting Premier League or Champions League matches end up disappointed. DAZN does not hold those rights in Britain. It does carry some women’s football and a handful of smaller competitions, which is worth knowing before you subscribe.
What football is on DAZN UK
DAZN’s UK football coverage is narrower than its reputation suggests:
- UEFA Women’s Champions League — exclusive global rights including UK, free on DAZN’s YouTube channel through the group stage
- Saudi Pro League — selected matches, depends on the season’s output deal
- Simulcast of some international leagues through its global platform, but UK geo-restrictions apply

That is the full UK football picture. No Premier League. No EFL. No Champions League. No Europa League. No La Liga. No Serie A. No Bundesliga. No Ligue 1.
What DAZN does have in the UK
The UK DAZN product is weighted heavily toward combat sports and non-football content:
- Boxing through Matchroom and Queensberry promotions
- MMA including PFL and selected Bellator cards
- NFL Game Pass (though Sky also has NFL rights)
- Darts, snooker, and some cycling
If you are a boxing fan, DAZN UK is excellent. If you are a football fan and not specifically chasing women’s Champions League, DAZN UK is not the service you want.

DAZN sells the UK product as one of three tiers:
- DAZN Super — around £24.99/month on a one-month flexible plan, or £14.99/month on a 12-month commitment
- DAZN Standard — slightly cheaper, fewer events included
- Pay-per-view events — big boxing cards are sometimes behind an extra fee even for existing subscribers
Women’s Champions League is free on YouTube, so you do not need a DAZN subscription for that content at all.
Why DAZN is different in other countries
This confuses a lot of UK viewers who see DAZN mentioned in Champions League or Premier League articles:
- DAZN Italy — the exclusive Serie A broadcaster, every match, all 20 teams. Italian viewers need DAZN to watch Serie A live.
- DAZN Germany — carries Champions League, Bundesliga (alternating rounds with Sky), Serie A, and Premier League. German football fans often pay for both DAZN and Sky.
- DAZN Spain — holds La Liga rights in partnership with Movistar Plus+ from 2022 onwards.
- DAZN Canada, USA, and other markets — coverage varies by territory, often including MLS and international friendlies.
In those markets DAZN is a major football platform. The UK product is not.
